Shooters brave strong breeze

20 Jan, 2010 01:19 PM
PISTOL CLUB: Last Sunday saw an increase in members and visitors shooting in cooler conditions with a strong westerly cross-breeze in the Standard Pistol event over 25 metres.

Chris Favelle with 587 took out the Wizard award for this week by virtue of some great marksmanship, and a healthy handicap, to edge ever-reliable Steve Turton with 572.

Standard Pistol 25 metres.

Chris Favelle 453 114 587

Steve Turton 509 63 572

Duane Chaplain 132 422 554

Wayne Chaplain 380 169 549

Lloyd Mitchell 218 193 411

Next Wednesday at 7pm will be the mid-week shoot, followed on Sunday by a working bee at 8 am and a Sports Pistol/Air Pistol event at 10.30am.
