The NSW Veterans Sandgreen Championship was held over 36 holes on Saturday and Sunday with more than 80 players taking part.
Visiting golfers dominated the prize list.
Winner of the main event, the 36-hole Stroke competition, was Graham Snodgrass followed by Greg Hobbs and John McCumstie.
The 36-hole Stableford event was taken out by John Dixon with Cobar’s Geoff Rorke and Barry Dowsett filling the minor places.
Saturday’s 18-hole Stableford event went to Max Phillips followed by Bruce Mitchell and Richard Bright.
Sunday’s 18-hole event went to John Collins from Mick Bannister and Doc Wilson.
Over the weekend nearest the pins were recorded by John Dixon (2), Greg Hobbs, Warren Breitauger, Bruce Soulsby, Geoff Smith, Keith Conroy and John McCumstie.
A special thanks goes to the younger players (ineligible due to age restrictions) who lent their golf carts FOC to visiting players. Well done fellas.
Also thanks to those ladies who did a splendid job of looking after us.

Eleven players turned out for a Par event on Wednesday with Bian Smith (plus-7) victorious on the day followed home by Darren Lord (plus-3) and Robert Fing and Craig Dillon.
This Saturday is CCI day sponsored by Copper City Investments and is a Stroke event.
Sunday is a Stableford event.
Also on Sunday is the Warren Open and there is not a bus going, so private transport arrangements will have to be made.
