11 Aug 10 | Two poker tournaments were held last week at the Cobar Bowling and Golf Club with Thursday’s free game winner being Stephen Clark (1st), Nigel Starkey (2nd) and Rob Josephson (3rd).
21 Jul 10 | Cobar’s Northern Riverina League Blues turned it on for their fans at Ward Oval last Saturday, outscoring visitors Tullibigeal in a close Aussie Rules match and winning both netball games by decisive margins.

New times: Thursday rego is half hour prior to the start times. Free game start 5.30pm, cash game start 8pm. Sunday free game start 4.40pm, cash game start 7pm.

Thursday June 24 - Free game had 15 players with Mark Egan winning on the day and Colleen Harvey came in second and Stephen Clark third.
Cash game - 15 players - 1st Greg Clark, 2nd Kane Walker, 3rd Mark Egan.
23 Jun 10 | PONY CLUB: On June 19 and 20 Kaila Wharton, Samantha Hyde and Kathy Hyde along with former Cobar riders Kathy and Jacob Hausler competed with their horses at Mid West Equestrian Club’s one-day event at Nyngan.
Kaila, Jacob and Kathy Hausler rode in the preliminary grade, in a field of about 20 entrants.
