Multi-talented sportsman Wade Potter has achieved selection in the U/16’s Western Cricket side to play in the Bradman Cup at Wollongong next January. Players were chosen from regional zones Macquarie Valley, Lachlan and Mitchell.
During last Monday’s High School presentation ceremony, Wade was named cross country champion (15 years), swimming age champion and western region representative in swimming and cross country.
He achieved State championship status in swimming and cross country while taking out the prestigious Bill and Chattie Prisk Memorial award for the most outstanding sportsperson for 2009.
His academic record also includes Industrial Technology and applied studies award in Year 10.
Adding to his achievements, Wade took out the 2008 Best All Rounder in junior school award and the Bruce Mitchell trophy for outstanding sportsmanship.
