More than 240 exhibitors are set to descend on Nyngan this Saturday for the Essential Energy Nyngan Agriculture Expo at Nyngan Showground with gates opening at 9am.
“The site will be buzzing with cooking demonstrations all day by ABC radio personalities Phil Dudman and Julie Ray, craft for the kids, face painting, a photo booth and energy efficiency advice,” said Essential Energy’s Peter Halliwell.
“This year’s event is going to be outstanding with over 260 exhibitors, including the world renown antiques valuer, Steven Archer, fashion parades, machinery displays and rides for the kids,” he said.
“The Nyngan team should be congratulated for the first-rate event they continue to create,’’ he said.

Mayor of the Bogan Shire Council, Councillor Ray Donald said the Expo is highly beneficial for the town.
“The benefits to businesses within our town increases as more and more people visit the Expo,” explained Cr Donald.
“Exhibitors are also returning each year and we acknowledge the hard work put into creating this event by Expo’s team of volunteers.”
“The Bogan Shire Council provides the showground facilities free of charge and with the recent installation of automatic watering in the ring, the grounds will be in top condition for attendees this Saturday.”
Guaranteeing a few smiles will be Essential photo booth which will give visitors the opportunity to dress up with Essential Energy props and take home a memento of their day.
“We will be raising money for the local Nyngan Hospital Auxiliary at the Essential photo booth,” said Mr Halliwell.
“For a gold coin donation visitors can get some get great shots, have a laugh and join the Essential Energy team for a couple of minutes.”
The Essential Energy exhibit is sure to be one of the most educational and interactive exhibits at this year’s expo.
