Great afternoon of music with the Janet Seidel Trio

01 Sep, 2010 12:20 PM
What a great way to spend Sunday afternoon - beautiful music, delicious nibbles, good company and all thanks to the Cobar Arts Council.

The Janet Seidel Trio will be performing at Coppers restaurant from 4pm on Sunday September 26.

Tickets can be purchased from the Copper City Motel, cost is $37 and includes performances, canapes, nibbles and complimentary glass of wine.

Janet has been called Australia’s first lady of jazz and has toured around the world but this year the trio’s focus has been touring country Victoria and urban areas.

Along with her renowned easy vocal style and piano accompaniment, listeners can also enjoy the unique talents of guitarist Chuck Morgan and David Seidel (Janet’s brother) on double bass. The trio love to hit the road and play in more remote areas as well as the big cities, bringing their repertoire drawn from 17 successful CDs to a variety of settings, ranging from concert halls to arts spaces, town halls and jazz clubs.

Fans of popular vocalists and jazz artists are usually entranced not just by Janet’s style but also with the versatile and creative talents of the rhythm section.
