Janet has been called Australia’s first lady of jazz and has toured around the world but this year the trio’s focus has been touring country Victoria and urban areas.
Along with her renowned easy vocal style and piano accompaniment, listeners can also enjoy the unique talents of guitarist Chuck Morgan and David Seidel (Janet’s brother) on double bass. The trio love to hit the road and play in more remote areas as well as the big cities, bringing their repertoire drawn from 17 successful CDs to a variety of settings, ranging from concert halls to arts spaces, town halls and jazz clubs.
Fans of popular vocalists and jazz artists are usually entranced not just by Janet’s style but also with the versatile and creative talents of the rhythm section.
